I like a band, LOADS. This came my way via my old stomping ground, NYC, and what with this dog day Afternoon of a week, in LDN, (cue Anya Phillips murdering Heatwave), it’s nice to get fired up about something. So here’ a little review of a BIG single.

DENSiTY Throws it Down and Rocks it Out! Their New Single “No Letting Go” Grabs You Fast

No Letting Go is a burst of old style raucous, rambunctious , rockin fun, which calls to mind the glorious mess that was a Heartbreakers gig in the days of CBs when visiting the toilet was a biohazard. Doyle’s deep vocals are like a cross between Lux Interior and David Johansen in Dolls days. Melodically, imagine a mash up of Chinese Rocks and those of you of a Bostonian persuasion, The Nervous Eaters’ Loretta.

This is high energy , old style NY punk and hopefully this kinda music will bust out of the bar scene and into bigger venues, suitable for those of us who like to have our mid life crisis in the mosh pit. Grabs you at the seat of your pants and hurls you into a like minded stranger. DENSiTY are destined for big things.
